Malaise Monday 9/28: ’73-’76 Cadillac Calais premium
Interiors could be done up in eleven genuine leathers, five plaids, velours, and knits. Outside you could choose from eight different color accent stripes, thirteen new paints, and padded Elk grain material for the vinyl top. I think it's fair to say that the Calais went out with a bang, and Cadillac wouldn't be the same without a brash entry level offering, until the debut of the ATS in 2013.

Malaise Monday 9/14: 1973 Chevrolet Impala premium
When the Impala nameplate is mentioned, it usually conjures up images of either the early 1960s models that are popular with the lowrider community, or the brutish SS version offered in the 90s. Malaise Monday: 1979 Chrysler Cordoba 300 premium
I don't know for sure if this is the rarest car to come out of the Malaise Era, but I'd be willing to bet that it is. Certainly qualifies as a piece of cultural history and would be absolutely classic with the vanity plate, KAAAAHN.

Malaise Monday: 1974 Buick LeSabre Luxus premium
Following the discontinuation of the Centurion from its lineup, Buick only had one full sized “B-Body” car, the LeSabre. Replacing both the Centurion and Custom, the LeSabre Luxus was the ultimate expression of Buick’s idea of mid 70s luxury.
