AutoTempest Sponsors No. 17 Roush Fenway Racing Ford Mustang in NASCAR Cup Series

NASCAR Race Driver Chris Buescher Teams up with “Car Trek” Co-Hosts Ed Bolian, Tyler Hoover, and Freddy ‘Tavarish’ Hernandez. New Episodes Debut Today on YouTube.

Victoria, B.C., Canada, May 10, 2021 – AutoTempest.com, the car shopping website that conveniently scours the top car shopping sites and instantly compiles users’ search results, partners with Roush Fenway Racing and invites Chris Buescher, driver of the No. 17 AutoTempest Ford Mustang, to appear on the popular AutoTempest-sponsored YouTube show “Car Trek.”

Buescher makes an appearance in the latest “Car Trek” installment that debuts today on the Tavarish YouTube channel, teasing his participation in a future “Car Trek” series (details to be released soon). Today’s debut features Bolian, Hoover, and Hernandez answering the call for yet another fun AutoTempest.com challenge – buying a Ferrari for the price of a Toyota Camry.

In this five-episode series Bolian, Hoover, and Hernandez use AutoTempest.com’s powerful search engine to find their prancing horse rides: a 2007 599 (Bolian), a 1990 456 GT (Hoover), and a 1978 308 GTB (Hernandez).

Each co-host of course is confident his Ferrari will fare well in each AutoTempest challenge, including a 1000-mile drive starting in Dallas in search of America’s greatest road. Along the way there will be numerous challenges, including performance track driving and the ‘I can’t believe I’m about to do this with this car’ tests that “Car Trek” fans have come to love. New episodes will be uploaded every day this week, with the finale scheduled for Friday, May 14.

On the NASCAR Cup Series front, the No. 17 AutoTempest Ford Mustang debuted at the Buschy McBusch Race 400 held May 2, 2021 at Kansas Speedway. After starting 16th on the grid, Buescher maintained pace and steadily worked his way through the field and led 13 laps before finishing eighth and securing the team’s second top-10 (at the time) of the season.

“It was a good ending for our AutoTempest Ford Mustang,” said Buescher. “It was a fight all day and we worked hard at it, everyone did a good job and brought us home a top-10. Really respectful finish from where we started. We kept getting better, kept working on it. Kansas is always fun being able to move around and have options. Those late race restarts were pretty wild, but we came out of it in one piece, the car is clean. Glad to give AutoTempest their first top-10 in NASCAR.”

Fans can catch Buescher and the No. 17 AutoTempest Ford Mustang in what is expected to be exciting road racing when NASCAR makes its inaugural stop at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas. The EchoPark Texas Grand Prix, 68 laps on the 3.426-mile COTA road course, will be held on Sunday, May 23, at 2:30 pm EST. Fans can view the race on FS1 (check local listings), and catch the audio on the Performance Racing Network) PRN.

“We’re having a lot of fun with ‘Car Trek’ and Roush Fenway Racing,” said Nathan Stretch, AutoTempest.com founder and CEO. “They’re each exciting on their own, and having the chance to get them together should be great. I think people are going to love this series of Car Trek, and as a NASCAR and road racing fan, I’m very much looking forward to COTA.”
